GNF Functional Structure

GNF Staff will include paid and unpaid staff serving in various roles: Board chair, board administrator, program coordinator, finance officer, resource development director, learning environment director, mission director.

The Board will be made up of the primary leaders/overseers from the various areas of GNF and the secretary (administrator) and treasurer. The board will be responsible for the legal organization of GNF such as incorporation and credentialing matters as well as the overall governing of the network.

Area Leadership Teams are made up of 3-5 persons who will provide relational accountability and resources to the persons in an area. The “area” will eventually replace the term “district” and may be determined by relational and/or geographical connections. The area leadership team would include the primary leader for the area as well as other persons that he might choose to be on the team.

Members of GNF include all of the ordained and licensed ministers recognized by GNF. The members affirm those who serve on the Board. (We “affirm” because we do not see members nominating, electing, or appointing the board. They may have a role in selecting primary leaders, but the board will be “self-perpetuating” in the sense that it will decide who the primary leaders and board members are.)
